I don't watch many animation movies/series but there are some anime that i considered as awesome and the others are just sentimental favorites of childhood memories. **Anime/animation
My first whole times favorite
AVATAR : THE LAST AIRBENDER
Its an American animation but the character design influence certainly more to Asian culture. The story plot are great and the character design and interactions are just perfect in this story.
As far as i remembered, the first animation that i watched was a japanese anime called
DORAEMON
Aired every afternoon on weekends and I remembered that i felt sad every time i heard the ending theme song because I knew tomorrow i have to go back to schools.
The other memorable anime is
SAILOR MOON. As a young girl back then, i just loved the magical-girl fantasy theme. Usagi Tsukino and all her female warrior companion are all very beautiful and feminine to me and i do remembered i collected the manga comic but all are gone now.
I still remember this line"Dengan kuasa bulan akan menghukum mu"
Next in my list is All Disney's Princess Fairy Tale's story-CINDERELLA,SNOW WHITE,SLEEPING BEAUTY,BEAUTY AND THE BEAST,RAPUNZEL and others.A classic Damsel in Distress kind of story with a lot of singing and unrealistic view of love(you cannot just fall in love with the prince that you just met that sang and dance with you)
Because I really like fairy tale kind of story, of course the next will be all
SHREK series. A genius parody of fairy tale story,comedy, and a modern touch. The princess in the story is so not damsel in distress, they have their own mind and strong.This is also one of my all times favorites.
A classic action theme animation such as
DRAGON BALL is a must watched every morning weekend for me when I was young. Another things worth mentioning is the anime series is painfully long (from the main character Goku as a child until he becomes grandfather) and only ended when I am in second/third year of high school,so that is why I never get to watch all of it because i don't have the patience. I only remembered some episode in each DB,DB Z,DB GT and god knows how many more.
